This review is mostly for the Safeway Sandwiches. They are my comfort food and my hangover cure. If all Subway’s were replaced with the sandwiches from the Safeway Deli counter, the world would be a better place. It’s the little things that make their sandwiches amazing — leaf lettuce instead of shredded, guacamole that doesn’t look gross and fresh bakery bagels for breakfast bagels.
The chicken bacon guacamole is my go-​to for lunch.
Oh, and the cashiers at this location are really nice too!

In terms of washroom potential, I luv how it’s rarely used, at least the numerous times i’ve been sitting there, no one seems to come in. end of aisle 9.
It’s a good size though no where as huge as Willingdon one. Good deli on yr right hand side, esp. w/​the ‘customize yr own sandwich’, friendly staff who use plastic gloves. why anyone would buy the pre-​made ones is beyond me, i like ‘em fresh & tell them what i want lol.
Good that the Starbucks is right where you enter if you use the west side entrance.
The deli/​bakery has the renovated tonal hardwood floor but sadly, the rest of the aisles don’t.
