Cioffi’s Cucina

Had no idea Cioffi’s had opened this cute little takeaway hot sides and sandwich bar. My partner is always on the hunt for a great place to get an artisan sandwich in the city and this place is fantastic.
Already love Cioffi’s for their wonderful meat and cheese deli and dry goods store next door (amazing pork cheeks and lamb shanks), and thus little deli combines every wonderful food item they carry in their stores next door into dream team combos that are so damn tasty.
The braised oxtail with arugula, sharp smoked cheddar and garlic mayo everyone has mentioned is off the charts tasty. When everything is made in house with their own ingredients how could it not?
They also have fresh pressed juices, frozen takeaway items and a large variety of mains and sides to take home for dinner in a pinch. If you thought Whole Foods had a decent hot bar for takeaway dinner, this local place will put that to shame for a much smaller price.
You need to try a sandwich here with a fresh pressed cold orange juice or chinotto… or grab a picnic basket and head here to stock up.

Ok this is it ! I found it ! The best tasting panini I’ve tasted in Vancouver! The Braised oxtail panini with arugula and sharp cheddar finished with a beautiful garlic mayo ! The flavor in this panini is ridiculous! Juiciest most delicious sandwich I’ve had in a long time ! Thank you Cioffi’s for making my day !

Braised oxtail panini, what can I say except that I ate so slow because I did not want the experience to end. The oxtail was tender, juicy, melt in your mouth delish. I have to say one of the best sandwich’s in this city. Hats off to Cioffi’s Cucina, you shined again.

Came here on the second day of business and it’s excellent. We had the hot meatball sandwich and veal parmesan sandwich. So good! Homemade sauces and meatballs are lovely and lots to choose from. The bread was so good we went next door to their deli to get some for home.
We’ll be back.
