This café is… interesting. The food ranges from good to decent. Nothing outstanding and as mentioned in another review it’s got nothing for those with dietary things expect maybe the salads and their veggie samosas. The teas are mighty leaf and a few other brands so pretty okay. Coffee, I don’t drink so I can’t comment on it. The green tea«smoothie» seemed more like a bubble tea slush that just needed some pearls thrown in. The baked goods are also from good to decent. I liked the brownies even if they were a bit too sweet for my taste. The atmosphere here isn’t going to wow you but they do play pretty nice radio music. So with all these things really being good to decent what makes this a four star joint? The service and amenities. The people working here are super sweet and friendly, the tables are a fantastic size for working, they have wifi and ooh yay plugs for laptops. Great for working, or drawing. Plus they sport a good sized table to seat 8 people. Seems like they setup tables outside in the warmer months, can’t wait. Yet, one thing saddens me Elements is closed on Saturdays, and Sundays because it relies on business from the industrial park. Drats. It’s hard to find a good café to work at with plugs and café space for groups :(

Tucked away in an industrial park in Burnaby, Elements café is nicely furnished, organized well and offers light lunches and beverages. The cappuccino was basic, but surprisingly good. Nothing outstanding and certainly nothing for special dietary needs. Also, all their pastries, sweet breads and sandwiches are wrapped up in plastic, which turns me off. I always think baked goods need to breathe a bit, but the variety and readiness is probably what they are going for, as there’s a giant film studio across the street ! and a lot of their customer base are people on the go from the surrounding offices. *waits outside for someone famous to walk in* It’s no neighbourhood hang out, for sure but if you’re in the area and you need a bite, I’d say it’s okay. Nice Korean owners too.
