For Asian vegetables and you do not like to go to T&T and fight with the crowd… go to Jumbo. At times, the veggies are so fresh and super! Hit or miss… I’d never buy vegetables from Save-On. They have almost all the in season Asian vegetables… Tong Choy, Sui Choy, Sai Yeung Choy, Chinese Celery and many many more… Asian food selection is a little lacking but it is better than looking at SaveOn Food’s Asian aisle. Prices are cheap(reasonable), and comparable sometime to the big chains. Owner needs to take care that some of the pre-packaged preserves(from China) are either expired or close to expiration. All in all, everything looks clean and healthy, and to boot, reasonably priced and caters to the Asian population.

If you’re willing to do 2 trips for groceries then stop at Jumbo. I usually buy most of my items at Save On Foods and then head over to Jumbo to finish off. They have a pretty good selection of Asian food and vegetables. I like their Shanghai noodles and you can find it in the refrigeration section. Their dumplings are a good deal as well and that is in their freezer section. The prices on Asian vegetables are half of what Save On Foods charges. They accept Visa and MasterCard too.

A little less than«Jumbo», especially with Save on across the way, but still worth the trip. This place provides what the Asian food section of Save on simply can’t. Adorable, delicious snack foods, a variety of ramen and oudon and then of course the typical things one would find at an Asian supermarket. Unfortunately, the produce doesn’t look so hot and the employees are rather mute. The atmosphere is dark and crowded, but it’s worth it if you’re leaving with the perfect instant lunch with candy hamburgers on the side.
