I appreciate your response, but to correct you no one contacted me to resolve anything or to even to apologize. Nor did my messages to TR asking to direct me to a manager so I could figure out what was going on receive a response. The ONLY person who was reliable and went out of his way was the truck driver, who actually arranged the entire US portion of the move himself directly with me. I also discovered that TRLIED to me over email about when my shipment was picked up when it very clearly stated a different date on the moving forms and the date the driver told me. As well, I never received the forms I was supposed to and was never asked for the value of my goods. Someone had filled this out without my permission or approval on the move. I have talked to numerous people who have had the same experience with your office, you might want to actually acknowledge you make major mistakes and don’t live up to expectations and make some changes. Your response is stock and doesn’t address anything I dealt with. It is also completely inaccurate.

Actually I am the landlord of the property that Tippet-Richardson in Vancouver recently moved one of my tenants out of. We just built the property and spent a lot putting in high-end finishes, including outside railings built by the same company that did the Shangri-La Hotel. The tenant was awesome and took very good care of the place, with little or no damage to the place; in fact she took amazing care of the place. Unfortunately she hired Tippet-Richardson to do her move; a very bad choice it turned out. Their movers decided to slide boxes and furniture down the railings and scratched them badly. They tried claiming the damage was done prior however I had inspected the place the day before and the tenant had cleaned and polished them so they were in perfect shape. She filed a claim with Tippet-Richardson and we both thought it would be taken care of. Unfortunately that is when their claims adjuster Sheila Pope got involved and decided to claim, even though none of the other railings were scratched up; that the damage was done previously. Now the amount for the repair was not huge and as someone who is in the reputation management business; I was incredulous when they avoided their responsibility and decided instead that gaining a bad reputation for employing irresponsible people, then failing to assume responsibility. I personally will never allow another tenant to use Tippet-Richardson as the risk is just too great., especially when they do not even take responsibility for the damage they did. PS I never included having to paint several walls and the entrance door which they damaged. I took this in stride but the deliberate damaging of my railings was just irresponsible; as was the actions of their claims adjuster.
