Ordered a online pickup order and was told it was to be ready at 6:15. We arrived and paid and was told to wait in the car and it will be brought to us. We waited until 6:40 and went to help as there would be several bags with drinks. Our order was nowhere being ready and waited another 10 minutes after a mad scramble and told sorry repeatedly… which didn’t mean much. We were missing parts of our order, 2 sets of fries, salad and gravy that we paid for! No napkins, utensils or condiments. I asked what the point of an online system is that gives a pick up time when our order would not be ready besides that there was at least 3 – 4 customers that arrived for their order and it was ready! Never again!

I really enjoy going to White Spot for lunch or dinner. This is one of my favorite places in Vancouver because the food is always fresh, and it always tastes very good. My favorite dishes are the Caesar Salad, Chicken Fingers, and the BC chicken burger. My favorite drink from there would be the Strawberry Milkshake. The milkshake is always very good, and has fresh strawberries inside.

Not a very long wait to be seated, but we weren’t told about any specials. Had Mediterranean chicken burger, pretty tasty. Fries were really salty, but milkshake was great. Food came out quick, staff was friendly and I got exactly what I ordered. Hanks for a great meal.

I’m very familiar with this location, usually going about once a month. However, after the last two experiences, I’m not coming back. Nothing wrong with the food, but the service is absolutely terrible. The first time we were seated in a glassed-in area at the side of the building that used to be an entrance. I felt like a hothouse tomato. This seating is obviously an afterthought designed to cram in a few additional customers, and shows absolutely no concern for a customer’s comfort. The waiter pulled down the blinds, but what with being crammed in with a couple of noisy families, we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Which was difficult, because they had«problems» in the kitchen and our order took almost 30 minutes to arrive. They did give us a 50% discount, though, without asking, which was appreciated. The next visit, our waitress was pretty much non-existent. She finally appeared and took our order after about 10 minutes, brought it to us, and brought us the bill. No stopping by to say she’d be right with us, no asking how the meal was, no asking if we’d like a refill of coffee — nothing. I was so annoyed I didn’t leave a tip. At mid-afternoon on a Saturday, I expect much better service for two people when it’s not busy.

I am always impressed with the service here. These waitresses are absolutely amazing and full of personality. I tried their new almond chicken burger and it was packed full of flavour. Never disappointed here

My family, my partner and I visited this Whitespot branch quite a few times at around brunch time 11−1pm(ish). The wait time is not bad, but it is usually busy when we get there and we are often ushered to the tables in a separate room at the back with bigger windows(yay). At the back, it almost seems like an added hallway with room for a couple of tables, so maybe the tables are for when the service gets extremely busy? Not sure. Regardless, I actually prefer it at the back because it is much more quieter. Anyway, food wise, it is decent — comfort meals and no big surprises to the menu. For myself, I usually always order their shrimp sandwich because they pack the sandwich full of shrimp, yay. The shrimp is also fresh and has a lot of flavour — I haven’t come across a «fishy» smell or taste, which can sometimes happen when you order a sandwich with seafood. The brunch menu is typical for casual dining standards; their portions are great if you are super hungry! My partner ordered«Nat’s Hearty Breakfast» and still had a few hashbrowns he couldn’t finish because he was too full. :) Also note: They’re usually good about catering to dietary restrictions, but I find you have to really over-emphasize specific details such as «dry toast» if you don’t want any butter or mayo on your bread because it will come heavily buttered and it will take forever for them to replace your meal.

This location was really busy and very slow. They need more servers, after seating we waited 15 minutes to have anyone come offer us coffee(the hostess as our waitress couldn’t do it) and our server to finally take an order. The breakfast I had was only OK, I order my eggs poached medium and they came out poached well, solid chalky yolk. Hashbrowns and toast were great! But the sausages leave something to be desired. I frequent the byrne location which definitely supasses this location. It was a friday morning, not a loaded weekend. Overcooked eggs and trying desperately to wave someone down for one coffee refill is not cool!

Gross… Went to the Lougheed /Gilmore location this morning and my wife and I decided to order(if the waitress would bother to come by) the Cheese Steak Hash. After about 30 long minutes and no appearance from what this place describes as a waitress, we were served the«mystery meat surprise» in the attached photo. White spot is over priced, tardy and can now brag that they make such a grotesque breakfast that my dog would give me a few double takes if I served it to her. Seriously time to replace the head chef. This was really unpleasant experience

Friendly staff, very good service. The wrap was good although it could have used a little more Chipotle mayo. The poutine was good. I keep coming back…

I haven’t been to a White Spot in years. When I lived on the island, I would pick up a burger occasionally on board the ship, but other than that, I can’t remember the last time I entered a restaurant. I’ve forgotten how GOOD and satisfying their burgers are! I went for their Pirate Pak day reliving the good ‘ol memories of being a kid. We were are large group(15+!) on a busy night. They were great in getting us seated and settled. Given the busy night, and our massive table, service was a little slow, but in general, our server, Stephanie, was amazing. She handled our orders like it was nothing, balancing trays loaded with drinks, pirate paks and ice cream. Nothing seemed too complicated and it was quite the engineering feat to manage it all. She was always checking in to make sure we got our right orders and that nothing was missing. If something as missing, she quickly fixed it. Two big thumbs up for our server. Food was typical of White Spot. I opted for the legendary burger with friends which came with coleslaw, a drink, ice cream and of course, the golden chocolate coin. A pirate pak is not a pirate pak without that chocolate coin. I had forgotten what an amazing concoction the sauce that goes into the legendary burger is. Juice and sauce dripping everywhere. I was a happy camper for sure. The fries were average, but I have never liked their fries in the first place(their sweet potato ones are good though!). The ice cream was rich and delicious as well. Perfect ending for a meal down memory lane. Me thinks pirate pak day is going to be a yearly tradition for this wannabe pirate. Arrrrr!

I haven’t been to white spot in over a year and my wife and I decided to go with some friends yesterday, now I remember why. Our server took a very long time to come place our order, but to be honest it did seem kind of busy, fine, i’ll give her that. I order the mediterranean burger and I have to say, it sounded better then it tasted. It was way too salty and the chicken was a bit on the burnt side. I pondered about talking to management but knew it would get me nowhere. I ordered fries with my burger which was suppose to be bottomless, but our server never bothered to come ask if I wanted more, heck didn’t even refill our waters. In the end the only time I saw my server ever again was in the end when she brought the bill with a wireless credit card machine without even us asking. Sorry Lougheed Branch, its over.

My husband and I have been to White Spots before and had great service. This was the first time we went to this location-EEP! It was the strangest experience we have had at a Restaurant. The waitress took a while to get to our table and when she did she took my order and then ran away. She forgot to take my husbands. We tried to hunt her down and after 10 minutes we found another person to try to place his order. When the waitress came back she said nothing about missing his order. Then they brought my meal 15 minutes before his meal and when they brought his they said«SURPRISE here’s your meal». It was really hard not to laugh because of how bizarre that was. No apology was ever made by the wait-staff and my dinner was so cold due to waiting for his meal to be brought out. We will not return to this location ever again.

Yet another spot that makes me wish that Unilocal allowed us to rate with a ½ star. I would go 3.5 for this White Spot. Quality of service, 4-stars. Quality of food, 3-stars. I had the Legendary burger(with bacon and cheddar) along with fries and cole slaw. I guess I didn’t realize that the burger wouldn’t have lettuce and tomato on it, so it wasn’t what I expected(or remembered from my last visit to a White Spot). Overall, it was fine. I did find the bacon to be a little on the tough side. I prefer bacon to be light and crispy so that you can actually bite through it, instead of catching it and having it pull completely out of the burger. Fries were a little soggy and cole slaw was just okay. Staff were great. Beverage glass kept full and checked with, without bothering me mid-mouthful.

Food is what you would expect. It’s nice that they offer a wide range of options from a simple burger to a full on entrée. The pirate meals are always a hit for children with a variety of options. The individual mini blueberry pies are big enough to share between 2 – 3 people. The parking lot always looks busy but when you get inside, there is ample seating. There are various dining rooms that seem to be categorized by «guest-type» from families, to couples, to larger group. Very accommodating and practical!

Friendly servers, great food & decent prices — come here with family often. My favourites are BC Chicken Burger & the Tuscan Chicken Pasta! Love their caesar salad, but dressing on the side as it’s too salty for me regularly. The servers don’t bother you too often but are quick to respond to requests :) Their pies are amazing, love the crust & ice creams are GREAT: D

I love this location because it is in my hood. and the food is always to expectation. I really enjoy coming here with my dad, Wes L., for brunch on Saturdays. White Spot has been a tradition in our family for a long time, and it is nice to carry it on with some father-daughter time :). Anyhow, I find that the food is always done right. Even though White Spot is a chain, there are still differemce between locations. The only drawback to this location is one strange waittress. I am not sure if she realizes how unfriendly she is. She is great at trying to upsell by offereing beverage choices, asking for dessert, etc.; however, when you deny her, she gets this really nasty scowl on her face. Yikes! The rest of the staff is pretty good. Sometimes, they could be a bit more attentive even if it is busy. Otherwise, this place is pretty top notch.

I’ve never been to a White Spot before, so when a friend suggested it, I cautiously agreed. People we all excited about the burgers and shakes, and I love burgers, so… how could I go wrong? We got there at 9, and a server came by with menus and then came back for our drinks order. Seeing how we were already hungry, we were ready to order! But the drinks server isn’t our main server. So she said she’d be back with our drinks and grab our server. Repeat this whole scenario again. By the time we put our order in, a half hour had rolled by and we were seriously starving. But the orders were in and were eagerly awaited our food. For another half an hour. Honestly, I think we ate our food faster than we waited in that restaurant. The food, by the way, is good. It’s not the most amazing burger I’ve had, but the burger and shake deal for $ 12 is pretty decent. I still think Red Robin bugers stack up much better. By the time we were done eating and finally got the server to get us our bills, it was just passing 1030pm. We then sat around for another twenty minutes waiting for her to return so we could tell her we were paying by credit card. I totally wish I had cash so I could’ve just put it down and left. Overall, the food was only«meh» and service was crazy slow. I don’t think I’ll be returning to a White Spot anytime soon.
