We called Aboe to have our new doors re-​keyed and to make extra keys. The locksmith called a few hours before the appointment and said that he would be coming much earlier. We told him that we were very busy and that he would have to show up at the scheduled time or send someone else. Despite our request, the locksmith still showed up 30 minutes early.
He was very curt and demanded payment upfront. It was apparent that customer service was of no concern… not the type of person that you would ordinarily give access to your home. Had we not been in a serious time-​crunch, we would have asked him to leave. To make matters worse, he was unable to cut our keys because his equipment was broken.
He left the house and we sat back in disbelief of our negative experience. How he managed to become a licensed locksmith is beyond me?
We called Aboe to express our concerns, but were told that there was nothing they could do, as the locksmiths are contracted out. Taking no accountability for their contractor’s poor attitude and failed service.
Had I known that Aboe assumes no responsibility for the locksmiths they send to your home, we would have never used their services.
The whole experience was very disappointing.

My work van key
I lost the only key for my work van, I know I should have had an extra key cut Before but anyway when I called they said they could send a guy out right away they changed the ignition cylinder and cut new keys all in about 1 hour for a cheaper price than 2 other company’s, would I recommend ABOE Locksmith absolulty highly recommendable, thanks for the great job Wade

While housesitting for my folks, their backdoor latch ceased working. I cried, lit up fireworks, streaked and used the sewer grate as my toilet. You don’t want to know what I used the squirrels for.
Having located a neighbour whose lights were on, I knocked, borrowed a phone and contacted these folks. The gent that answered said he would be about 30 minutes and he was about that long. I pointed him to the lock, explained what had happened and he got to work. He wasn’t exactly friendly but got the work done.
After getting me in, he was paid and I was off frolicking in the house and talking to the cat. It’s only then that I decided I would start drinking.
All in all I’m happy with the efficiency though I think the driver should try smiling once in a while. Maybe he just needs to talk with a cat.

I’ve used Aboe twice now. I appreciate that they are on the ball within 24hrs or so to assess my situation and shortly thereafter, deal with my requests. Just last week the serviceman was kind enough to use lock lubricant to fix the locks on all exterior doors of my house, which had become nearly unusable, at no charge to me. I must say that he didn’t follow-​up as asked in order to discuss future lock changes but I let it go because it’s not a rush. This minor oversight won’t stop me from calling when I need them.
