Very poor service. The mature female sales clerk was not friendly, borderline rude, and lost a $ 325.00 sale. We will never be back.

Their rustic showroom sports row upon row of locally manufactured cowboy boots in all sizes and colours, and their friendly, knowledgeable staff are more than happy to help you find the ideal boots for you. But you can’t stop with just the boots. And you don’t have to, because other than boots, ABC also carries cowboy hats, western shirts and big-ass shiny belt buckles. This is like the rodeo of boot stores. This is situated way out on the 50th Avenue Se, but it is a huge store so it is definitely worth the ride. The place is so rustic, Calgary Stampede posters from years before don the walls of the store, and the hardwood looks like it is has been through many round ups. The women working there are warm and down to earth and I was given some leather coasters for my home. They have an amazing assortment of cowboy boots, men’s, women’s and kids, in every size and shape width and form. There is even an assortment of work boots. The leather cowboy boots seem pretty reasonable, $ 200 and up for an authentic, well made leather cowboy boot. Not bad and I know this place suits up the best of the best, because also lining the walls are wrangling plaques and awards, no doubt this place is run by the pros. So if you want the real thing, take a drive out here, you will not be disappointed.

Cool store. I was in town for Stampede and I wanted a pair of real cowboy boots. I imagine there is no better place to go, perhaps anywhere. Huge selection of boots of all materials, even some that are illegal to buy in the States: alligator, kangaroo, python(and, of course, bull hide). I’m no cowboy, so I felt a bit lost. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and they made sure I was fit properly. They also instructed me on proper care and gave me the necessary leather care and even a boot jack. Prices vary, and the exotic leather boots are not cheap. However, that’s because they’re high quality. For myself, I settled on two pairs of python skin boots(I couldn’t decide). Spent quite a bit, but it was worth it. I love wearing them, even with my business suits.
