Amy’s Confectionary

Store is loaded with all sorts of goodies. Prices are fair. Staff are friendly.
Handy for those of us who live behind the store and have not to get all dressed to go get milk on a cold winter day/​or night! BTW, they are open from 06:30h until 22.30h.

It’s no surprise that all these years I had never stepped foot into Amy’s Confectionary. The reason I say it’s no surprise is because RIGHT around the corner is a mammoth of a MAC’S store. And let’s be honest, between Amy’s Confectionary and MAC’S, MAC’S wins hands down. But I persuaded myself to give Amy’s Confectionary a shot and I was pleasantly surprised.
Amy’s Confectionary may be smaller, but it’s less packed also. They have an extensive assortment of goods (everything from chocolate bars to Lipton’s Soup) and the service is great. On a busy weekday, MAC’S is often packed and you have to wait in line. At Amy’s Confectionary, the line isn’t as long and they’ve got just about everything you need.
Amy’s is a great alternative if you’re in a rush.
