I took my engagement ring to Ann Louise to get sized. My fiancé purchased my ring out of town and we were unable to have it sized at that jeweler. I chose a jeweler in Chinook because I felt they would be more reputable then going to some small place. I couldn’t have been more disappointed! The store said they did ring sizing so I left my ring to be sized. When I went to pick up the ring there was an obvious dent in the metal where the ring had been cut to make it smaller. The jeweler was careless and didn’t polish enough. At first the teller told me she couldn’t see it, but then admitted it was not smooth on one side. She asked whether I wanted it sent back. It is my engagement ring, I didn’t want to settle for«ok», so I said that I wanted it sent back to be done correctly. I called the next week and they said the ring was in. At the store I waited ten minutes for the manager to track down where they had my ring, then I was able to inspect it. The manager seemed very annoyed I was taking so long to inspect the repair to the ring, however the first try at sizing was of such poor quality I felt I had to. The manager’s response to me taking so long was a comment that, «it will never be perfect, you are going to see it has been sized» and then he told me that if I wanted it to look like it hadn’t been sized I should have ordered the right size to begin with. I have had many rings sized and have never seen such poor soldering and polishing done. This store seems to have no business sense, no respect for their customers, and poor quality jewelers. I’m very disappointed.

The fiancée and I were on the hunt for earrings for her to wear for our wedding. There was a nice pair in the display case outside the store. The employee grabbed them and showed us a few others. My lady liked the original pair and in the same breath the sales person told us they were $ 449 but she could give us a deal. So clearly sticker prices don’t mean anything here. We ended up going with the earrings but didn’t pay full price.
