Ok, first of all I should state that for the last 8 months this has been my branch of choice. Usually, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a bank — no more, no less. However, today I encountered one of the most miserable, obnoxious, jackasses I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Somehow(despite having government ID, providing 3 transactions that happened in the last week on the account, verifying SIN number and personal info) this guy decided to require a signature verification as well, and was about to turn me away because it was slightly different from a signature I gave in 2000… WHEN I WAS14!!! It took the branch manager personally telling this guy to quit being a jerk to finally get me out the door over 20 minutes later, for what is usually a 2 minute transaction. Otherwise the branch is very typical — the usual look, the usual speed, the usual service, in a fairly convenient location, but they seriously need to look into their training practices, because that kind of treatment of clients isn’t acceptable.
