Avellino’s Panini + Salad Bar

What a great little sub/​salad place! Really healthy and fresh food prepared in front of you. We ordered:
— Soprano 12″ Sub — Spicy Capocollo, Mortadella, Genoa Salami, Marinated Eggplant, Tomato, Romaine Lettuce, Mozzerella Cheese, Veggie Spread — I like it! This sub is then pressed in the Panini press.
— Hammer Sub — off the Sammy Menu — quite tasty as well.
— Mandarin Chicken Wrap — Seasoned Chicken, Mandarins, Shredded Carrots, Cucumbers, Chow Mein Noodles, Romaine Lettuce, Peanut Sauce — This is a really, fresh and tasty wrap! The mandarin oranges give it moisture in the wrap.
— Deluxe Salad — We can choose 8 items to put in our green salad and dressing of choice. I like what we came up with! Greek Tzatziki is what we picked for our sauce.
— Chicken Noodle Soup — nice accompaniment to the wrap.
You can order to eat in or take away. There’s also Mario’s gelati and ice cream in the restaurant.
All in all, we’d come back to this place to order again, for sure!

I may have been living under a rock but I have never heard of this place till I stumbled upon it in Crowfoot. Located near Marble Slab and Frilly Lilly. Apparently this is a new location since one of the counter staff told me they opened a few weeks ago. I also found out they have other locations downtown and are a Franchise. Who knew? I surely didn’t.
They have panini’s, wraps, pizza and salads. Great place to grab a nice and healthy lunch. I love the concept of their salads. You pick all the veggies you want added, as well as if you want meats or seeds, pick a dressing and they toss it in front of you. I had a Mediterranean panini. Boy was it ever great. Allot of other things on the menu, I need to try another time.
Healthy and tasty lunch options!!. The staff was wonderful, the service was quick, and my meal was fresh and delicious! Will be back again.
