Calgary Co-op Brentwood Gas Bar

Full service stations… they really do still exist! At least one of them anwyay.
I unknowingly pulled into the full service side of the Coop gas station in Brentwood. Seriously, who expects to have a pump jockey step out of a gas station for you? Not me. Instead, I hopped out of my car and headed over with debit card in hand to get this pumping started. Instead, a man in a bright orange safety vests comes walking over. I looked at him with puzzled amazement, «Fill it up?» he asked. «Yeah, sure.» Also, could he check my oil and windshield washer fluid?
I walked inside to pay, but had to wait until the gas was done pumping. While I was loitering in the aisles, the man behind the counter asked if I needed help finding anything. Since when does that happen in a gas station? Since whoever’s running this show took over and brought back full-​service I expect!
