Canada Diagnostic Centres – Marlborough

Fun fact: did you know that Unilocal came to be because the founder, Jeremy Stoppelman, caught the flu and had a difficult time finding an online recommendation for a local doctor.
With that spirit in mind, I decided I should review CDC-​Marlborough. First things first, this neighbourhood has a rough reputation but CDC was a pleasant little surprise. A diamond in a rough (to the max, kinda deal.) Nicely renovated, really open and airy. A calming effect for people who might be in distress, I suppose.
I walked into the centre and was immediately greeted by 3 or 4 staff members. They took to time to fill me in about radiation from x-​rays and what the signed waivers are for. (Sidenote: I knew I was going to be exposed to radiation, I was there for an x-​ray, I smiled politely and signed the waiver.) After that, I was taken to the smaller waiting right away. I got really excited because there was one person ahead of me, but alas that moment would be fleeting, after about 10 minutes the smaller waiting room was packed. I think there were patients there that had seen the technicians but had to come back for immediate follow-​ups. But the time went by with the help of Panda Pop on my phone and after about an hour, I got my x-​rays done.
The technician I saw was super friendly, and understanding. I sprained my wrist and he was gentle in placing into the positions needed for the x-​ray. They were really thorough with the process too, I had 4 different angles taken of my hand. And I got results within 24 hours!
I think if you are ever in the predicament of needing a x-​ray, you should definitely give CDC a-​go! :)
