Chapters

I’ve been to various locations Chapters countless times, but I have never used the self-​service kiosk except for to check availability. What I learned during my most recent visit (thanks to a salesperson with formidable skills and knowledge) was that you can use the self-​service kiosk to find where books are located inside the store. After you found the title in the system, there is an option to print out the ticket. The ticket includes the section where the book is located and even a mini-​image of the cover to help you identify the book with ease. I was able to find all the titles I was looking for in various sections in less than 10 minutes before closing time. These people know how to help a customer.

This is a great Chapters! The gift/​home décor selection is huge with many different varieties. I needed to put my self control on a work out to stop my shopaholic urges! Great choices of books and the Starbucks is roomy and nicely lit. (quite busy on a sunday afternoon!)

I love browsing the tables at the front cuz theres usually always something good to stumble upon (last gem found was Jenna Jameson’s autobiography «How to Make Love Like A Pornstar».highly recommend by the way)…
Also a decent place for some last minute cheap but useless gifts. You have weirdo candies along side a black globe and some yoga matts. But I guess it adds to the whole chapters experience.
if your on a massive waiting list in the library for a recent release this place can be a saviour with usually plenty in stock. Also there are sections on everything so its easy to get lost for a couple hours.

Although I am not an avid book reader, I love coming to chapters. Sometimes I come and look through the cook books, sometimes the wide selection of Music and gear magazines. Occasionally I read the back of novels and ponder the thought of actually reading through the whole book.
This chapters does not have the music and movie section that some of the others have but it does have a giant «child trap» kids section for little ones to go and ravage the books and toys. My little nephews and neese’s love going and looking at books and toys and playing with the public Thomas the tank engine play set though sometimes fights break out between the kids! so watch them carefully! hahaha
Places like chapters (book «megastores») always remind me of the movie «you’ve got mail» hahaha. For better or worse this place is a haven for book lovers! It may just be a soulless buffet of books and corporate bullcorn but it is what it is!

Home base! A well-​stocked and well-​organized location, with lots of helpful staff and computer kiosks to browse on. They have a decent little reading area near the back of the store, and of course it is attached to one of the busiest and warmest Starbucks locations in the city. Being a ten minute walk away, it is convenient if I am bored and feel the need to pick at books and browse for an hour or so.
