Cheap cheap cheap! Nothing fancy about it but who cares when you can get a giant bottle of Baileys for $ 30?! They have one row of more expensive wines and one row of cheaper wine. Beer, spirits but all in large Costco quantity of course.

Costco liquor store gets 4 stars for me for the value. Only downsides are the location and less diverse selection. The Kirkland brand is amazing. The Rye is comparable to Crown Royal and the vodka is comparable to Grey Goose, and for around $ 50 for 1.5L, you can’t go wrong. Wish they had a slightly larger wine and bubbly section, but it is not bad. Best part — you do not need a Costco membership to shop at the liquor store.

They had everything we needed to throw a small party. The girl that was working on the particular day was very helpful. I’m not a drinker, and she made some good suggestions. The other plus, is that any unused alcohol can be returned for a refund. That’s any unopened bottles. If you buy a case of beer however, you of course have to keep the rest. Knowledgeable staff, and friendly service.

Do you like booze? Vodka? Scotch? Rye? Rum? Wine? I absolutely love caesars and I refuse to use any vodka in them but Kirkland brand. Why? $ 50 for a 60oz and it’s better than Grey Goose. I’m not kidding about that either. Their secret is that they actually bought a Grey Goose distillery in France. You get all of the quality and don’t get ripped off on the price. Next is their rum. Slightly cheaper than other places though not worth a long trip. Go for the scotch. Usually $ 20 or more cheaper than the average liquor store though not a huge selection. It’s a sweet stop for your giant bottle of vodka. Step next door into Costco for your giant bottle of tabasco & worcestershire, 4 pack of Clamato, bundle of celery & massive container of celery salt and you’re good to go.

Some of the best deals on liquor are to be had here. They don’t have everything in stock, but the items they do carry are extremely reasonably priced. I purchased several bottles of Apothic Red at one of the lowest prices I have seen recently in the city. The best part? You do NOT need a membership to buy your booze here! Holla!

«Mommy, why can’t I have nice things?» «Because you live in Ontario now son.» «But I really want a Costco liquor store by my house too.» «Sorry son, the Ontario government is too backwards to allow privatization of liquor sales. You’ll just have to suck it up with the LCBO.» «Okay mommy.» I love the Costco liquor store. If liquor wasn’t cheap enough in Alberta already(cheap compared to Canadian standards), Costco takes it up a notch. Bottles of wine are anywhere from $ 2 – 5 cheaper than other stores like WIllow Park Wines & Spirits. Yes you have to be a Costco member to shop here. As with all things Costco, the selection is slightly limited but they have the basics that you need to stock up your liquor cabinet. There’s at least one brand of all your rail spirits, the popular domestic beers, and a large wine selection.
