Okay, I finally decided to give this place another shot as apparently their management and/or ownership changed since my last(terrible) experience. I must say that everything about this place has improved. The waitress was prompt, super friendly, and helpful. The food that my party ordered(wings, pork(?) salad, and greek salad) was all quite good and came within a reasonable amount of time. My only complaint is the selection of beer on tap. They have a few house beers(brewed by Minhas) and a selection of boring mass-produced domestics(Kokanee, Keith’s, etc). Where are the microbrews(local or otherwise)?? I’m rounding my review up from a 3.5 to a four because everything else about the place was good, but I would give them a true four star review if they had at least one or two microbrews on tap(e.g. Wildrose, Village, Tree, heck, even Big Rock would even suffice!).

We’ve come on a few occasions for cheap wing night. Overall, service is good as are the wings. Flavours don’t always hit the spot, but depends on what you are in mood for. Owner is a school teacher, who shouldn’t be there drinking on a school night. In fact, he should not be drinking while in his own bar — cuts into his profits, makes him not look good in front of customers and staff

I came here with some friends last weekend for dinner and a few drinks. My sister picked it because it was close to our house and was wheelchair accessible for myself(which can be hard to find). It has a ramp onto the patio(which was a little steep) but I’ll take it! They also have a fireplace and heat lamps which was great when it got a little cooler out. The service though was a different story. I met up with everyone a little later and I guess it took them an hour to get their food! The waitress also messed up an order but brought the right food back in 5 minutes. She kept forgetting to bring our drink orders which was super annoying. No one wants to constantly remind someone. If she brought them out without 15 minutes in between, we probably would of ordered more. A friend also ordered a beer which was beyond flat so he only had one sip. She didn’t even mention that it was full when we asked for our cheques and he didn’t want to say anything so he just paid for it. I’m giving 3 stars due to the accessibility, although I didn’t check out the bathroom. I just ordered an appetizer which was ok. Just like any other pub food. I would definitely go back to try some other dishes, but hopefully get a different waitress.
