Nothing makes me feel as clueless as going on a mission to get my 10 year old nephew the latest fad electronic toy that he wants for his birthday. First of all, I would feel a lot more comfortable asking for an «Ignitor», a «Slam Bam», and an «Erupter» if I actually knew what they were.(Is it just me, or could you just as easily find things with similar names at an *adult* store?) Luke at EB Games, without being remotely patronizing, gave me a quick primer on the Skylander game craze, went into the back storeroom to search for a few of the highly desirable figurines from my nephew’s precious handwritten list and gave me hints about future gifting. I wish I had just come here to begin with instead of traipsing around town in my quest for the toys which will undoubtedly become a parent’s elusive nightmare around Christmas time.
