Eye on 17th

This is my third time coming back for glasses (prescription and sunglasses). The service here is awesome and the prices are great! Definitely recommend.

Very bad customer service ordered wrong frames and then continued to argue that I was wrong and they had not made a mistake on the frames I think I can remember which frames I pick I have been wearing glasses for years and never had this issue before, twice they were supposed to call back and did not. All lens, frames and test was way overpriced my advice is to steer clear complete rip off merchants with extremely bad customer service.

Went in on recommendation from some guys I was biking with a few days before. I needed a new pair of sunglasses.
Lots of different brands. I had a hard time going away from Oakley as thats what I have now. Decided to buy a pair of Spy and am happy with the purchase.
Sheri was very helpful and her and the other lady gave me the opinions I wanted as I hate buying sunglasses alone.

I can’t understand what happened! I had been to Eye on 17^th before and had great service. My experience last weekend was a comedy of errors, one after the other after the other.
It started when I made my appointment. I asked for a Saturday appointment as early as I can get. They set me up for one at 10:30, I had a hair appointment at 9 so it would be cutting it a little close but then my weekend would be free to do whatever so I gladly accepted. So on Friday night they called me and confirmed my 10:30am appointment the following day. I rushed and got there on time to find the lights off and the door locked. They don’t open until 11am. So I called and left them a message and when they opened they did call me right back, very apologetic. They had a 12:30 opening so we rescheduled. I was promised «the best eye appointment». I then showed up at 12:30 and was told the doctor was just finishing up with a patient and would be right with me. Half an hour later the doctor was finally free. As my appointment was a full eye exam and it only took 25 minutes I left wondering if there really was a 12:30 opening.
If this was the end I would not be posting this now. However, today I went in to pick up my contacts and the clerk made sure to let me know that they were labelled and everything. I got them home, was putting them away and noticed that they labelled them wrong. I would have ended up putting the wrong contacts in the wrong eye. Thankfully I noticed before I used them.
After this visit I will not be returning to Eye on 17^th.

Was in Vegas for a conference when my lens fell out. Got it repaired but lens kept coming out. Brian at Eye on 17^th had ordered replacement lenses for me before I left for Vegas as mine were scratched. I was fortunate as I arrived home late Saturday and he had left me several messages to call him. He replaced both lenses the next day I came home from Vegas. It took him an hour on Sunday.
I really appreciated the service and the fact that he went out of his way to help me. It is a very fashionable shop with designer frames. It gave me clear vision with the new digital progressive lenses. The transition lenses also are very dark and convenient as there is no need for sunglasses. I recommend the store and also the excellent frames and service.

I needed a new pair of glasses so I thought I would check them out. The staff was super friendly and helped me find the perfect frame! I was really impressed with their selection and prices. The girl working told me they have over 350 sunglasses in store! Crazy! I will go back again and refer my friends to them.
