Based on campus at the University of Calgary, this club is geared toward promoting Hip Hop culture. Wow talk about an amazing social club on campus at the U of C, not only do they organise hip hop dance classes they also put on one of the most energy filled events I have ever been to.
One Touch 2010 saw a 400 person crowd and around 75 bboy/​bgirl dancers, competing in Bboying, Popping and Lockin. Not only did I see killer dancers, they were also amazing Bgirls and some competitors as young as eleven years old.
Two Djs and a host orchestrated a choreography of dance stylings that were out of this world. I didnt realise there was so much talent in Calgary and the gals totally held thier swagger.
The music was amazing and so were the events, everything was so fluid and it lasted well over 3 hours. All proceeds from this event went to «Doctors Without Borders».
This group is worth following folks, I know they will attract more stuff for 2010 so look out for them.
