Lazy Day Raft Rentals

Just like the other reviewer mentioned, this place has everything you need for a fun day of rafting down the river — rafts, life jackets, tubes, etc.
You would think that since rafting down the Bow is one of my favourite things to do in Calgary, that I would own a raft by now… but nope, I rent. On one particular weekend I had called Lazy Day to reserve a raft, but they had filled all their reservations for the next day. I was advised to show up early in the morning to line up for their first-​come-​first-​serve rafts that they don’t designate for reservations. So, we showed up about 15 minutes before they opened and ended up being the first in line — success! We only had to wait about a half hour for them to clean/​test the raft and we were on our way!
Even though we couldn’t reserve on that one weekend, I was still pleased with the service and how the guys were still super friendly on what seemed to be a ridiculously busy day (it was great weather and I believe there was a floating event going on). Prices are also pretty on par with the U of C rentals service, but it seems that they only have the 4 person rafts available which is fine for small groups. Definitely worth checking out if this location is closer to you. See you on the river!

Lazy Day has everything you need for a relaxing afternoon spent floating down the river. (Make sure you get life jackets for everyone!!) The company website has some great information about routes and it lists prices for each rental. It would be helpful if the website also listed their hours of operation… The office is convienently located near the river, so you don’t have to walk too far carrying an inflated raft.
