LW Stores

I discovered this by accident on my latest trip to Deerfoot Mall.
I had stopped by to hit the Smart Deals @ Stupid Prices across the hall from the Buffet Yangtze. I was looking for a water bottle to accompany my trips to the World Health on MacLeod Trail SW.
Not finding what I was looking for, I chose to walk around the mall since it seems there is a store either leaving or moving in.
Located near the Sears, I found the LW Stores Store 199. Apparently, according to an in-​store commercial, it is a part of Big Lots, Canada. Being an American living and working in Calgary, I am familiar with Big Lots. They get new close-​out items almost daily and always have good specials. The 2 stores I visited in Renton and Seattle, Washington as well as the Big Lots near my house in Austin, Texas have great customer services especially for a discount store. Happily, this store appears to carry on that expectation.
The store is apparently being restocked and must have expanded as there are several empty shelves but by the looks of it, they won’t be empty for long. They have everything from laundry soap, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, granola bars, gas cans, bedding, great prices on nice dish sets and glasses, tools for your home and car, some small furniture pieces, and clothes, just too name a few.
Today, I bought a 2 US gallon gas can for $ 7, Tom’s of Maine Mint toothpaste for $ 3 (the 4oz tube), an 80 load Xtra with Oxi-​Clean detergent, and 2 water bottles for $ 8 (the 750ml bottle) which the latter is what I was looking for. Will be heading back for the dish sets and a new comforter set.
I am glad I found this store; evidently, exercise can be good!
