I was turned away this evening from the Maple Leaf Lounge by some tactless clerk. My husband is a super elite and million miler and i was embarrassed to be turned away in front of others in a line. I was given a guest pass and just landed in Calgary and was to wait to meet up with him while his flight came in a couple hours later. He gives Air Canada a lot of business as does others and when we want something — very little back from Air Canada they thumb their nose at us. The benefit is all airports have Tim Hortons, and nothing beats the coffee and service with a smile — definitely beats the hoity toity attitude of the Maple Leaf Lounge. I will spend my couple hours here while I wait for my husband. Thank you Air Canada for nothing! What I just experienced destroys a lot of the good will and tireless good service my husband and I get from your conceirge office.

United Presidential Plus and United Club member denied access after flight on Air Canada. No more Air Canada flights for me!

Currently a major Reno going on. Not too comfortable. Hopefully they come through and it is looking good. The Maple Leaf Lounge YYC does get busy!

Lounge is being renovated and is looking really good. Can’t wait to see when it’s finished. For sure needs to be bigger as this lounge is always very crowded. The staff are wonderful here — always attentive and really go out of the way for if you request something. The selection of food is primarily the same as other AC lounges, and I’m always surprised how AC can afford this — well I guess we’re paying for it really in the price of the tickets, however it is a large cost !

Amazing club with great a variety of beers and wines. My favorite Guinness on tap! This one even puts the Red Carpet Club as a distant second!

It’s a nice escape from the typical kiosks in the airport. The lounge offers up snacks and unlimited alcohol, coffee and soft drinks all day. If you’re there around breakfast, lunch or dinner hours they also serve up a decent selection of food items. At breakfast, there’s usually oatmeal, pastries and cereal. Lunch, they serve soup, salads and bite sized sandwiches. I’ve yet to be around for dinner but have heard that their selection is decent. There are lots of loungers for those who just want to relax before their next flight. If you’re looking to do a bit of work in between, there are a good amount of tables, also some that have direct connection. Free wifi is also provided for those that need it. Definitely not a bad space to wait for the next flight.

This lounge used to be a 4 or 5 but it is soooo packed these days! This day when I was there you had to search high and hard for a seat to sit after a long day of work! YYC really needs a bigger lounge as this one is too small! All the regular amenities are great just need more size AC!

One of the larger Air Canada Lounges on the West Coast. Tons of seating, the usual selection of food and drinks.
