Perfect Alterations

Ivy Sun has retired, and this new lady has taken over. She has raised the prices and seems just a bit unorganized. And her attitude is way different from Ivy, who would do anything and everything required perfectly. Her attitude is «if it’s a little bit hard», I charge extra. I brought in a jacket that needed sleeves shortened. It was one of those new style slim down jackets, but she said that down filled items were harder to work with and slapped an extra $ 10 charge on it. And when it came back, the worksmanship was horrible. I will give her the benefit of the doubt and say perhaps she is just starting out and will learn over time, but for me, I will take my business elsewhere to someone who was as friendly and experienced as Ivy. If I find one, I will share with all.

I brought her a pair of my new dress work pants to get hemmed. Took a week to get done. Once I finally got them back I put them on the next day getting ready for work and I noticed they weren’t even on both sides. So I brought them back and she kindly said she would fix them and was nice enough to make them a little longer as I asked. But the next day, same problem. Still not even!
Maybe I have a leg longer then the other? But it’s not like I didn’t put them on twice now so she could get it right!

I checked reviews for this excellent alteration business after having several repairs done elsewhere over the past few years which were disappointing. I am so happy to find Perfect Alterations as I can take work in without any concerns and with confidence in perfect results every time. The seamstress is very pleasant and very helpful and her work is far superior to my past experiences elsewhere. She is also more reasonable with a faster turn around. It is quite a treat not to wait two weeks for hemming and then come away disappointed. I had pants hemmed that were different types of fabric and finishes and all came back looking great. I really appreciate her expertise in measuring the proper length which removes the worry from my guesswork attempts. Her work quality is very professional. I highly recommend her and will be taking all my future alterations there.

There are two alteration shops in Crowfoot but I highly recommend this one which is in a small strip mall across from Crowfoot Dodge.

I’ve been going to Ivy at Perfect Alterations for years and years — she actually altered my grad dress for me ages ago. I have continued to bring my alterations here and have always recieved exceptional service! My whole family now goes here and we always end up with a great finished product. Prices are really fair as well. Highly recommend!
