Stood in the store for 15 minutes trying to get the attention of the worker behind the register. His girlfriend was visiting. Needless to say, the speakers I was looking at did not get purchased. He paid no attention to me rather enjoyed laughing and whispering with his girlfriend. I was the only customer.

I love thrift shopping but Pete’s is not for me. This is mostly a store for boys and men as far as I’m concerned. It’s full of tools, A/V gear, some sporting equipment, techy gadgets, etc. However, there are a lot of electric guitars and movies, which piqued my interest more than anything else. I think the owner was working and may have read my face when I walked in because one of the first things he did was try to steer me toward the jewelry cabinet. I wasn’t interested and the selection is small. I spotted boxes of dolls that are placed high up on the shelves and I doubt anyone will take those anymore unless one of them is a collector’s item. The store is small but clean and fairly well organized. They had Spanish music cranked so the vibe was upbeat. If anything, I’d suggest people visit for the tools, instruments and A/V equipment.
