Regal Beagle Pub

This used to be one of our favourite pubs to feast on great wings and cold beer. You could always count on quick and friendly service. Unfortunately recent changes abd/​or additions to the staff have left us seeking other establishments.
On our last visit we were greeted with a «I’ll be right with you» and decided to leave after 15 minutes of waiting for her to come back. The experience we had previous to this one a month or so ago was just as poor.
Here’s hoping they sort out the staffing issue so we can go back.

Really one of dirtiest places to eat, not sure how they get past the Health inspections, very rude staff and management. Spend your money elsewhere.

Where is the guy (curtis)that used to work behind the bar… he was the real reason we used to go there a lot. There was a good waitress that isn’t there anymore either (shay?). Different vibe all together the last time we went. The food is pretty darn good but try to find fresh pepper to go with the good food is a challenge.
We stopped going as the bartender is always on her phone… we like to sit at the wood. We go to Governor’s now. We just don’t like the vibe there anymore. It’s too bad really.

Stopped in for wings and a beer. To say the least, the wings were great only .25 cents each and very tasty. Will be sure to go back the next time I am in the mood for wings

Not really sure how to review this place, but I know if I was the owner I would be concerned about my investment.
This place is very close to being a winner. The food was excellent. In fact it was among the best pub food I have ever had. The beer was the right temperature. The ambiance was appropriate. The volume was good and the place was clean.
The only problem was the service from Chantele. Friendly but really, really slow. Since there were only three tables in the house — our table of eight and a couple of deuces — there didn’t seem to be any reason for it. Had Chantele been interested in providing good service, she probably could have done so.
Regardless, though, we will be back. We are a team, this is our pub. So Regal Beagle Pub gets a second chance. And probably a second review.

We’ve been here a few times and afterwards I never really want to go back, but my friends do and so we go.
The food is not terrible, although some choices are really poor. My friend has gotten 2 caesars from here and they were both made completely incorrectly. They also randomly run out of things and the wait can be extremely long.
I have had trouble with the service here as well. The waitresses take forever to come by, especially with bills. I’ve also had a server spill beer on me without apology. The ambiance is not that great either; the décor is interesting, but it’s rather cold inside and the music is just too loud. I don’t like leaving places with a hoarse voice because I’m having to shout over the noise.

We went here on NYE and all ordered mixed drinks with double shots, and could not taste the booze. Then, one member of our party ordered a Captain Morgan and 7-​Up, and it was completely CLEAR (it should be brown)!!! For the rest of the night, we ended up ordering draft beer or shots and sodas and mixing them ourselves. They are either not putting booze in the drinks, or are adding water to the booze. What a major disappointment, especially on NYE!!!

Compared to the Kensington location the wings are not as good here. I ordered extra saucy and asked four times if they were very saucy. When I opened them at home they were barely sauced. The pub it self is nice inside. It’s smaller then the other location but seems very friendly and open. The bartender served me and he was kind, funny and had a inviting smile. I was unimpressed by the fact that it took almost five mins of standing directing in front of three servers before anyone asked if I need something. I finally stood right in front of one of them and told them I had an order to pick up. The food came out fast even though they were very busy and the wings were ok. I probably will go to the Kensington location next time but if I did go back it would be for the atmosphere.

I think this location is underrated compared to the other locations in the city, especially the one on 14^th street. The beer is cold, the staff are friendly, and the décor is really interesting.
