Great service. Amazingly fast… literally pizza being made as I order it. No seating for dine in but it has plenty of seating for takeout. Located on a little strip mall on temple street in northeast calgary. In a part of calgary where indian restaurants dominate this was a bit of variety from the typical food in this area. Once u walk in theres the menu on the wall. Easy to read and simple. 8 inch to 14 inch pizzas start at $ 7.50 to $ 23.15…depending on your toppings. 2nd pizza is $ 3.99 doesnt matter if its small or xl. It takes about 15 min for takeout. And in that time I saw about 10 customers come in and out with the phone ringing off the hook. Wow… this place is so busy. The pizza is fantastic. Personally the thicker crust is better. But the thin crust was crisp and light. The thicker crust reminded me of pizza hut without the grease. The sauce was sweet and tangy but could use a touch of seasonings or herbs. I would minus a star normally but the great prices evened it out to keep it five stars! For two 14 inch pizzas with a topping each it was only $ 16. Dirt cheap in todays standards for pizza and one medium was perfect for one adult. Not to be overly stuffed but satisfied. The cheese tasted like a two blend of mozzarella and mild cheddar. I would of liked the option to add parmesan or grilled chicken on top and this place would blow my mind. For a quick bite with no frills, perfect for a picnic or a day at the zoo. This place will be my choice when im on a budget.

Mmm good old Rio Pizza. If you’re like me, and LOVE a good thin crust pizza. Then you MUST try one from this restaurant! The crust is perfectly crispy and has just the right amount of toppings and cheese to go with it. I used to order from Rio Pizza all the time when I lived down in Marlborough, but now that I moved up to the NW they won’t deliver to me. :(lol
