The pharmacy staff is very friendly and efficient and pleasant about any errors if any. We have been dealing with them after a nurse recommended a few pharmacies through health link when we were having difficulty with another similar pharmacy had changed management and was not good for us anymore. I picked Safeway even though we’ve tried other ones because she rated the staff and whole store so highly. We were not disappointed and have been with them over 7 yrs now. And collect air miles! They even deliver for us as our adult child has severe medical issues and lots of meds every month. They are busy but have quieter times just ask them. You can order meds 24 hours over the phone ad long as you have refills available. They are excellent at checking for drug interactions from what your Dr prescribed. They have faxed our dr to let her know and ask for a different prescription or further instructions. I have been mostly seeing Dianne but Dinah and other staff are good too. They can consult with you and give flu shots and other med related things. Normally it’s a 20 minute wait but it’s pretty easy to handle as you can grocery shop there at Safeway or walk thru the store into NORTH HILL MALL. they also back onto the Lions park LRT.
