Secure Home Inspections

So happy that we got a home inspection done by this company. Mike Solobay was very thorough while going through the house both inside and outside. Every corner of the house was checked. There were a lot of things we would not have noticed that if left would cost us major amounts of money to fix in the future, He was very responsive and helpful when we asked questions. I was surprised about how much knowledge he had about the general building styles and common issues of houses built in certain eras. He was very professional and it was clear that he takes pride in the work that he does. Mike was not aggressive or dramatic when he found an issue he just simply told us the issue and gave suggestions on what could be done to fix it.
He found a leak in the basement of the home we were about to buy, which allowed contact the owner who is bringing someone in there to make an estimate. We negotiated a lower price on the house to make up for the cost of the repairs needed. If we didn’t get that inspection we would not have know about the leak and it could have cost us thousands to fix on top of the price we originally offered. Over all this was a great company to work with. On time, professional, thorough and honest.
