Sheila’s Drapery

Recently, we were thinking about how things are with the team at Shelia’s Drapery and decided to look them up. Both my husband and I were a little surprised to see the negative reviews on Unilocal.So we decided to share our experience as well:
We built our first house 5 years ago, and at the time we were expecting our first child. It was a very hectic time for us — as we were expecting our first baby and going back and forth to the home builder’s design centre to decide on our finishings. We were given a choice to go with the home builder’s supplier, but because the initial consultation experience we had wasn’t so great; we decided to go with a friend’s recommendation and arranged a consultation with Shelia’s Drapery. We ended up going with them for the supply and install of our Hunter Douglas Pirouette. We can’t be more than happy with our choice today. They provided a very professional consultation and made our decision-​making process that much easier. When we build again, we will DEFINITELY be using Shelia’s Drapery.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I’ve used Sheilas Drapery twice in the last 3 years. Both times they came to my house with samples, measured my windows and a few weeks later they had everything installed. The gentleman that came to my house was nothing less of professional and was extremely knowledgeable of his products. I am super happy with the end result and would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. I am surprised by the absurd «positive» reviews Sheila’s has on
, I will not be surprised if they pay the website to eliminate the bad ones. Bought Hunter Douglas blinds from them last year, the measurements were wrong. We were told that they will fix the ones that do not sit well, but it has been a year and still no response. My husband has been emailing them, and has been ignored. I called them, and they still have not returned my call. Bad customer service!!! Do not go here!!!

I saw rave reviews on the internet. At first visit, nice people. I bought very simple oversized curtain rods, reasonably priced. Everything else they quoted me was very expensive. It seemed they start highest and work their way down, sizing up how much I was willing to pay. The sales person was much nicer than the owner. The price of installing was extremely high. $ 14 a linear foot. It took less than 30 minutes, 8 brackets to hold the simple rail up, which does look very nice though. But, wish I knew a handyman and hired them to do it instead of paying over $ 300 just for the install.
