South Fish Creek Recreation Association (Sfcra)

This is a beautiful new complex way in the SW of Calgary, right off of Macleod Trail and a stone’s throw from the Shawnessy Village.
Tons of free ample parking here and boy is this complex clean, there exists the YMCA, a public library and it is attached to Bishop O’ Byrne High School. So at many times during my visit I kind of felt like I was in a mall. I like this centre so much better than the Village Square Leisure centre I think simply because of the way it is laid out and for it cleanliness.
The folks at that office are very friendly and the students that seem to stroll from the high school to the complex here seem more disciplined.
The space has tons of light and you just feel really good entering the complex. The YMCA has the most modern services, including a running track, a climbing wall and a cardio area that looks down into the courtyard.
The food court is very clean and has far more attractive fast food options
than the Village Square and again i dwell on the point that the tables and floors are very well kept. Nice!
