The people at Why Knot are angels on earth.
I was only in town for two days and could have really used a massage. I wanted to be sure to find a reputable place, because this is my first time getting a prenatal treatment and I needed to feel safe. I chose Why Knot based on their Unilocal reviews, their website, and their proximity to downtown.
I left a message on Saturday morning and Allison called me back almost right away. She was such a sweetheart to move some appointments around to fit me in. Jen even came in early on the Sunday to accommodate the hour treatment.
It could have been the late night out at the wedding, the heavy duty ear plugs I was wearing, or the fact that my husband turned off my alarm clock… either way, I over slept! Im a morning person, I never sleep in past 9am! And I’m pregnant. I pee every two hours.
Needless to say, tragically, I missed my massage, but I can tell you everything about Why Knot before the massage was a five star experience.

Allison is amazing. She is really welcoming and I felt very comfortable right away at the studio. The studio has a small reception area with complimentary water and tea, a coat rack, and a reception desk. Then you walk into the next room to the heated massage bed. The massage was amazing. It was a little painful, but felt so good at the same time. I would highly recommend Allison. For your first time getting a massage at Why Knots, you should definitely fill out the questionnaire online and bring a printed copy, saves time. If you are in need of a massage, definitely go to Why Knots. What do you have to loose? (Pun intended)

She is a great masseuse! I feel massage drunk after i leave her place LOL! Not a typical spa cheesey massage place, very cool hip place. I love her décor and the music– very relaxing and trendy in the same! My husband and I both go here and she gives fantastic massages and its great therapy as well– not just the touchy feely stuff.
Go see her– DO IT! Very worth it! :)
