Winners

I’m pretty close to the Westhills Winners, and I work downtown where there’s another Winners, so I’d never been to this one before. But, when in the south… you go to Winners? Meh.
We were looking for a few collared shirts and some slacks (not for me) and, granted, we did find those, but this is a pretty underwhelming location. It’s smaller than others, there wasn’t the same selection of merchandise that other locations have and things seemed laid out pretty oddly. Parking was also pretty tight for a weekend.
It WAS quiet, though, which is nicer than having to dodge people and their carts in the little aisles. And I like the new cashier system in all the stores — way faster than the old-​fashioned way of lining up at individual tills.

Traditionally I like Winners but I would not recommend this location… lacklustre customer service at best, bad attitude at worst. The last time I was there as well the cashier charged me for 2 items she opted not to put in my bag. I had no way of proving this which just meant an all round frustrating experience. When I complained to the head office, they didnt care at all. Very nice

So I confess that my biggest secret and I am sure 30% of the female population of Calgary is Winners.
My mother introduced me to Winners and now that I have financial self sufficient status, this heirloom is officially mine to pass to my children. Hopefully it will still be around.
Winners has the most amazing deals on clothing, household items, jewellery, shoes, perfumes and my favourite undergarments!
Designer names at up to 60 percent discounted off! I have savagely purchased Matt and Nat, Calvin Klein, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Rock and Republic, David Bitton and Kenneth Cole here just to name a few.
The store is also so well organised, I always find what I am looking for at a better deal than what I imagined I would find coming in. I regularly seek out Winners for formal and business dress wear cause I can always count on well made and long lasting items that look to impress.
The staff here is always extremely helpful and really enjoys your joy in your purchases. There are 8 locations to choose from in Calgary but my personal favourite is the one on Macleod Trail, it is easy to get to, not as crowded and parking is a given. The added perk at this location is I can also go two doors down to the dollar store to find the little things that I need to buy for my home but am too lazy to shop for. So this location kills two birds with one stone.
