The fam wanted to try a new place for Chinese food and we’ve heard lots of good things about Lee’s in Calmar. I called to order take out and tried to order Chow Mien only to be told they no longer have that on the menu. I could order beef and noodles for $ 3 more. Okay fine. I got a chop suey, a chicken fried rice, and a combo meal for myself(not even thinking that the combo meal was supposed to have chow mien, according to the website, which doesn’t have up to date menus. Also in the combo was chicken fried rice and ginger beef). The food: Temperature — Feels hot in the bag to the point where I was dropping items quickly, but once we started eating it, it was warm-ish. I don’t know how this is even possible, but apparently it is. Combo — I wanted ginger beef and nobody else did, so this was a way to get it. I also like chicken fried rice and chow mien, normally. The ginger beef was sickeningly sweet, with very little actual ginger flavour. The Chicken fried rice had no chunks of anything, vegetables, meat or egg, in it and very bland. They replaced the chicken chow mien with chicken chop suey, which I don’t enjoy on a good day, so I just scooped that off the top onto the beef chop suey that the rest of the family was eating. Chicken Fried Rice — Like I said before, it was fried rice with nothing in it. Beef/Chicken Chop Suey — I can’t really speak to this myself since I didn’t have any, but the rest of the family said it was alright. Nothing special. Chicken and Noodles — Looks suspiciously like chicken chow mein for $ 3 more than they originally charged. I tried a little of it, and didn’t like the sauce. We will continue to drive into Edmonton for Chinese food. We wanted to try something a little closer to Leduc, but there’s still no decent Chinese food that we can find.

Rating des Ortes: 5 Leduc, Canada
The place and décor isn’t a 5 by any means but the food and the service makes up for it tenfold? The best Chinese food around. Worth the trip from Edmonton!
