The only downside is how expensive it is. A chicken ceasar can be $ 9 with tax, not including a side or drink. The pita itself makes up for it though. The selection is large, including interesting items like pineapple and sprouts. The lettuce is fresh and leafy and the chicken isn’t too dry. They’ve also added toasting as an option and spices/rubs to add to your meat. Service is quick and the location offers seating. It can get busy during lunch.

Pita was big, so that’s good but the extra charge for cheese is kinda dumb. Staff wasn’t happy or friendly, I felt like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. Some people came in while I was here that seemed to be regulars and therefore got a much more friendly greeting and banter while they ordered. I’ll be back, I guess, but I won’t be going out of my way to go here.

I go here to get my Donair fix from time for time. If a Halifax Donair is a 10, the ones made here might be a 5. But, they get credit card being one of the few places I’ve found in Ontario who even bothers making them.

Tasty, healthy and inexpensive food with various halal options. Service is also great. A little stingy on the toppings though.

Really good pitas. The chicken slovaki was great. the pitas and toppings were very fresh and delicious. They have a real nice selection ot toppings too, more then the other pita chain restaurants. Great spot for a healthy lunch

Surprisingly impressed with the selection of veggies here. They had crunchy green and red bell peppers, sprouts, lettuce that wasn’t limp, and bright yummy pickles. Also, the bathroom wasn’t gross considering it was a single-person use one and this place is right off the highway.

I used to be a big fan of Pita Factory, but not anymore. The last time I went there I ordered a shawarma pita which was easily the worst pita I’ve ever had. I’m not one inclined to complain, but I actually did send a complaint to the email address that was featured on the wrapper of the pita. Never received any response whatsoever. The other thing about this place was the fact they are so cheap with toppings. Apparently to Pita Factory romaine lettuce is a premium topping and you can’t get it instead for iceberg lettuce. According to them it’s for chicken caesar pitas only. I understand stuff like meat and cheese being additional charge, but policies like that just feel chintzy. I’m not someone who loads up a pita either, usually just lettuce, tomatoes, sprouts and sauce, so to be denied the choice for one of my 3 fillings really rubs me the wrong way.

I can not have one more five dollar dollar footlong from subway! This place is a better alternative and even though I came in with the best of intentions, I left with a gyro pita stuffed with fries. Yum! In short, the menu is new years resolution friendly, but there are a few gems on the menu to temp fate.

The falafel sandwich was very satisfying, if a little on the huge side. But then that’s how many of these places work. The chocolate chip cookies are a waste of time and money, though. Good service and clean, and they had newspapers to read, which I like, when I eat alone on the road.
