We bought a couple massages from groupon and used it after our biking trip from Banff to Canmore. We arrived early and there was no wait. The massages were great and the spa was refreshing. We will definitely recommend this place to friends. We hope they let us use the shower.

I purchased this groupon hoping to surprise my boyfriend during an out of country trip to Canada. I attempted to call to make reservations after my purchase but only got a voicemail that recommended I make reservations online. there were no details on how to make reservations for two massage therapists for the couples massage. I decided to wait till we got to Canada and called numerous times. I only got the same voicemail. I left multiple messages. No one called me back. I finally had to tell my boyfriend about the surprise so we showed up on the only day we were available to use the voucher (Tuesday) the receptionist said they were booked for the day! We planned to leave the following day and she had no words of support. She said they have been without a receptionist for a week and were returning calls when they could. She said Monday they didn’t have any reservations so they closed. The website said they were open with availability. I called and left several messages Monday. I called first thing Tuesday before we showed up unexpectedly and still no answer or returned call. Online it showed availability all day but when I attempted to make reservations it repeatedly read ‘time unavailable’! The receptionist said only some of their therapists accept the groupon and that is why the online reservation didn’t work. There was no information about those issues on the website. We have to drive 6 hours back home with no foreseeable ability to come back to use the Groupon I was looking forward to using! Horrible!

Have been to Azzuro for multiple services and have not been let down!
I’ve had massages, hair, microdermabrasion and on Monday, some girlfriends and I went for hair and airbrush makeup. Deb and the ladies made us all look and feel so beautiful (we went out for a girls night after!) Highly recommend this wonderful spa!

My husband and I were here a year or two ago and loved the couples massage offered, so we booked a weekend in Canmore for our first anniversary. This was what we were most looking forward to.
I spoke to Meghan on the phone a couple of times this week, playing telephone tag a bit to set up an appointment time, and spoke to someone else to book the appointment. I asked the person booking the appointment to specify the services. She confirmed the 90 minutes couples massage and took my credit card number.
Arrived 15 minutes early for our appointment and was asked what we were there for, as there was only a 15 minute blocked off time and one MT. I was stunned, as I had taken extra care to confirm our appointment. The MT at reception offered no consolation other than a 15-​minute solo massage or to rebook another weekend. Hardly appropriate. Nothing else was offered, and she kept smiling and saying she wished there were more people working. Not our problem.
Unprofessional, unreliable, and really frustrating.

Debbie was one of the only women in town that not only took the time to talk with me regarding my hair, color etc. She went straight to my stylist to discuss product etc so we could get a perfect match!
I had my hair coloured and styled today. And I can’t even express how amazing it looks!!!
The compliments I’ve had says it all!
I am beyond happy!!!

Great couples massage and dry scrub through groupon deal. Great customer service and the owner of the spa is very personable. I recommend this place to anyone who needs a relaxing spa day.

I normally get spa packages for my wife to go to and get away but I saw the couples package and thought it might be nice to do this together. It was two adjoined rooms that we were in, but the ambiance was nice. I had Kelly and my wife had Jale. While I feel that sometimes the person giving me the massage is watching the clock I felt that Kelly was really a girl on a mission and it was an experience I’ve never had before. She did lots of different techniques in the spa and in 90 minutes I got a light exfoliation, hot stones, a mask and a nice massage. It didn’t seem hurried (which is really important to me) and I felt really relaxed and was ready for a nap afterwards :) My wife gave me that happy look afterwards and just said «Wow, that was verrrry nice!». Knowing that she can be particular about her spa’s that was high praise indeed.
I’d recommend asking for Kelly to ensure you get a special experience. I asked my wife if she’d recommend Jale and she said «Oh yes, can we clone her and take her home?»
This place deserved the 5 star rating. We’ll be back again next time we’re at Canmore.

I read some mixed reviews of this place on some other websites so I was a bit hesitant. I had wanted a couple’s massage so I had to find somewhere new and it was one of the places that popped up in my searches with the added bonus that it was in canmore which could make a nice day trip. I decided to go for it as the prices aren’t too bad and the good reviews were still good.
the spa is in a strip mall and the ambiance is very similar to some of the other nicer strip mall spas I’ve been ton. Not the nicest spa around but also not the price structure of one of those spas. The staff was nice, we got early and they got us in early to boot. The couple’s room is not what I pictured from TV (I’ve never had one before) but it was just two treatment rooms with the curtain opened. so we were only kind of in the same room. I do imagine the rooms is strange when you aren’t in a couple’s massage as there is just a curtain between you and someone else unless i’m missing something else about the room to add privacy.
The massage was very eclectic — there was a mix of regular massages, use of hot rocks at times and some shiatsu. A mixture that was quite nice and yet I’ve never had in combo before.
Over all we quite enjoyed our time there and I might have made my spa newbie fiancé a bit more high maintenance… heh.
