Sinders Bridal House

I travelled to Carleton Place from Ottawa to Sinders Bridal House because I had heard nothing but good things, and I wasn’t disappointed. The salon is located in an old house, and when you go inside it is decorated very elegantly. We were greeted immediately by a staff person, and welcomed warmly into the salon. Myself and my mom were allowed to browse dresses to identify any styles we liked, and our consultant Nancy pulled dresses as well. In fact, Nancy had pulled some dresses for me before I had arrived just based on our emails back and forth.
The selection of dresses is huge, and they are all of excellent quality. They have a variety of sample sizes to try on as well, so I didn’t have to squeeze into a size too small.
Nancy was excellent to work with and she pulled some absolutely stunning gowns for me to try on. We were allowed to take lots of pictures to send to family and friends, and we never felt pressured to buy a dress.
I would highly recommend Sinders to any bride in the Ottawa area who is looking for a dress.

The second my friend got engaged I couldn’t WAIT to go dress shopping with her. We researched a bunch of places in and around the Ottawa area and decided to add Sinders to our list of shops to try. Dress shopping can be a little bit intimidating as each store has different rules and regulations as to how they operate (whether you need an appointment, if you’re allowed to pull your own dresses, etc, etc…). Neither my friend nor I are pros at wedding dress shopping, so we were kind of out of our element.
They were very welcoming at Sinders and allowed us to pull the dresses we liked from the racks. The stylist that was assisting us, Debbie, also made suggestions, but it wasn’t done in a pushy way at all. She was fantastic at selecting dresses that flattered my friend’s figure and she made the task of selecting the perfect dress far less daunting! My friend ended up finding her dress at Sinders and the process was thoroughly enjoyable!
BONUS: They offer 10% off the bridesmaids dresses if you buy your wedding dress from them. :)

Absolutely phenomenal!
I first saw them at the Ottawa Wedding show and unlike other bridal stores who had booths there; they allowed you to walk right in, browse and try on as many dresses as you like.
They have an incredible selection and the nicest staff. I never felt like they were trying to sell me a dress, it felt more like they were trying to help make my dream come true… Which they did. The prices are extremely reasonable and affordable.
Thank you so much to the staff there. Debbie was the one helping me out and was simply amazing.
