Good food, very solid and reliable. You will get a good meal if you go there.
I recommend the hot turkey sandwich although so far it seems impossible to go wrong!

Homemade food at its best. Excellent service. Will be back at next cavendish visit.

I don’t know why, but I’m a fan of Chez Yvonne’s. Whenever we’re on the Island, I try to make my way here. Probably because it’s not easy to find decent food outside of Charlottetown.
This place is nothing fancy, essentially a diner, but I like it. Their menu runs the gamut so there is something for everyone. I can’t say whether they do everything well, but they have always done our food well enough to bring us back.
Décor-​wise, there’s not much to speak of. Just a basic restaurant that is slightly better than a diner. They were playing country music the day Mike and I were there. Service has always been friendly and efficient. This time we stopped in for breakfast. I asked for crispy bacon and got limp, but everything else was great. They give you the option of regular bread for your toast or homemade, and their homemade bread is really good. Their home fries are obviously also made in-​house and actually taste like potato rather than over-​processed, over-​seasoned little squares. Overall we very much enjoyed our breakfast. Prices are very reasonable. I find Chez Yvonne’s to be a dependable stop when I’m in the area.

We enjoyed our meals. Fresh halibut pan fried. In the immediate tourist area, this is the best option. Staff was friendly, laid back and prompt. I’d go back.

its not bad food but not good either. Stay away from local wines! Terrible! and they somehow like to push it, but dont all. We got a Argentina Malbec after returning our bottle of local pinot. The taste was no existant to the food. Has a drab look to the place. I wont repeat.

This place was definitely disappointing. Around the island seafood can be found everywhere, so you have to do it right. I got the lobster burger and the portion was tiny. My Sea Breeze was beyond weak on the gin. Very disappointing.

I really do not see anything great about this restaurant.
The food was so bland. I mean would it kill them just to put a little bit of seasoning on their food? There was just no flavor. I ordered the seafood plate, which read that I would be getting big chunks of lobster, with other things. Our waitress also told us that. All we got, was a small tiny piece of lobster. How cheap is that? I still just can’t get over how everything was tasteless.
The Lighting in the restaurant was terrible, It made me feel a bit dizzy and tired. The service was on the faster side as well.
Moreover, I would not really recommend this restaurant, considering there are other things in the area of much better taste.

Good food, friendly and very fast service and great selection of food. The selection has something for every taste and is price right. I recommend the pan fried haddock.
