Like the other burrito jax locations, good and fresh food. Excellent flavors. Grilled hot meat and quality ingredients, lots of good choices for toppings. I live this place

Burrito jax appears to me to be an East coast burrito joint. When I visited the one in downtown Charlottetown I noticed the inside left something to be desired in terms of interior design. Instead it felt like eating in someone’s garage. Sure Subway, Pita Pit, Mr. Sub and other restaurants don’t focus on visually appealing interior aesthetics Burrito Jax takes the cake for totally bypassing interior design and what appears to focus on their menu. That’s why you see McDonald’s and Tim Hortons doing a refresh making their new restaurants much nicer and cozy in design. Here at BJ it’s the bare minimum basics. On my visit I had selected the quesadilla as I was not in the mood for a gargantuan burrito. My selection was a Jax Chicken burrito. I ordered it with guac and it was okay. Really ordinary and nothing wow amazing. Serving size was good for a hungry guy. Just I wasn’t blown away. Maybe I ordered the wrong item but it wasn’t very memorable. In the Canadian landscape burrito places appear to be the new«Subway» restaurants of the mid 2015’s. Quesada and Mucho burrito restaurants seem to be opening up all over the place these days. It’s easy to see why. It’s quick, efficient and somewhat seen as healthy. Plus inexpensive. I’ll come check out another Burrito Jax in the future and hopefully have a better experience.

First time there. Got the Jax chicken Burrito. Not a ton of ingredients, but once all rolled together, and toasted, the large filled the gaping hole I had going in. Very good, will go again. Didn’t give a 5 cause I went to a Mexican restaurant in TO where the Burrito weighted 3lbs with ingredients and meat.

Like the grilled burrito idea, nice thin tortilla. guac was okay. Super skimpy on the ingredients but then heavy handed with jalapeños and hot sauce. Do they ever eat their food? Maybe former Subway workers.

I’ve had a couple of meals in the past, and they were very tasty, the burritos are very good; the same with the quesidilas. One item I would recommend is the regular burrito with a bottle of coke. So if you’re in the downtown area and hungry for Mexican food, I’d recommend Burrito Jax.

Had a steak burrito. The taste was outstanding and the staff was helpful. Sometimes when you eat a burrito it’s sloppy and messy but not here. Fresh veggies and sauces make this place a must stop.
