Sooo good! Treats were delish and fresh and prices are sooo cheap! I may have pigged out a bit! Lol definitely a great bakery :)

If you find yourself in the ferry lineup to Thetis Island, as I did recently, then wander up into Old Towne Chemainus, straight up from the ferry terminal, and enjoy the Chemainus Bakery. It’s a classic old-​style bakery, the kind one hardly ever sees anymore… a definite time tunnel. Lickety split clean, great baked goods, excellent coffee, clean washroom… whether a pastry or a light lunch item, this is a hidden gem… worth a detour off the road, whether or not you plan to travel over to Thetis Island. Tables for eating in, or take out the delicious fare… those Almond Danish are great!
