Pho Lan

Very disappointing. Plastic in the bubble teas, requested no cilantro yet it covered our meals and soup broth was like oil. Will never try again.

Yum yum yum! This is not your usual westernized Vietnamese cuisine, its definitely more traditional. They should definitely have more photos of the food to identify with but otherwise everything’s great. I cannot stress enough how friendly the owners and staff are. I also screwed up my order twice I know it sounds wired but they remade it both times free of charge. Bubble tea is not powder made either. Fresh fruit. Delicious.

Phở Lan is good, although they charge for some of the «extras» that usually come included (such as a spring roll cut up on Bún). Their Wor won ton soup is one of the better versions of the dish I’ve had, although the lack of a bigger size means I’m usually buying something else, too (i.e., spending more than $ 15 just on myself).
This is one of two or three vietnamese restaurants in Chestermere, and is certainly worth trying. I’ve chatted with the owner a few times, and she’s a very nice lady who really respects her customers.
It’s easy to miss this place; it’s attached to a gas station in a gravel parking lot. The pin on the map is a bit misleading; access Phở Lan from Merganser Drive W (not from Hwy 1A /​Chestermere Blvd).
