Went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with my family, the food tasted AWESOME. We were all stuffed after so the portion sizes were good. After we ordered, the waitress came back and informed us that one of the main dishes we ordered wasn’t available right now, bummer. The wait was also a bit long, but they made up for it by bringing us a free salad and dessert.

TERRIBLE. Went there the other day with friends and it’s gone so downhill. I got a steak salad that cost almost 20 dollars and it just sucked. I love the steak salad for original joes so I was hoping it would be the same. Hardly any dressing on the lettuce, seeing as there was basically only lettuce except for a couple bits of tomatoe and onion and a little cheese. The steak was okay, it was cooked properly but it had a weird marinade on it. Definitely extremely over priced. A couple of my friends shared some appies for their meal and got food poisoning lol. My boyfriend got a steak pasta and it was disgusting. Probably won’t ever go back.

Not the mr mikes of yesteryear. Frozen hamburger patty with fake grill marks in it some sort process cheese and a very skimpy spread of «mike burger sauce». Will not be back. For the $ 15 bucks you pay you think you would be full after. Nope!

All things considered, Mr. Mike’s Steakhouse & Bar in Chilliwack is a good choice for decent food and good service. I had the pineapple glazed pork chop. It was tender and flavorfull. Their Clam Chowder (white) is flavorful and nicely seasoned. I sat out on the patio because there was a waiting list for indoor seating. I gave in and had what they called an ice cream sandwich. Two large chocolate cookies with vanilla ice cream in the middle. It was a refreshing finish to a very pleasant meal.

A pretty decent place with lots of different things to choose from. My burger was okay, but definitely not the best I have had. The fries and gravy, however, were fantastic.
If you’re going to have a pint, some appies and watch the game, there are definitely worse places to pick from. Of course, there are better, too.
