Too bad I can’t give it 0 stars. You have to pay all these hidden fees just to sign up and they also harass you to pay more money for personal training and stuff. All it really is is cardio machines and then they have a tiny amount of free weights and then old worn out weight equipment. NEVER going back. It’s so cheap every month for a reason.

I would give She’s Fit! 0⁄5 if I could, I was so upset by this gym, and what I had to go through to become a member. Here is my story and review. being new to the area, all i wanted was a simple gym tour to scout out the best gym for my lifestyle and needs. She’s Fit! needed all my personal information on file before i could view the facility.(sly approach for future solicitation) After this was finished, I moved on with an employee to view what the gym had to offer. As far as equipment goes, the cardio section outweighs what weight training has to offer by a mile. Can someone explain to me why you can see their members breaking a sweat on treadmills from the street outside? The rest of the club is covered up to protect those with low self esteem who are often the ones who are drawn to a women’s gym in the first place. I will definitely add here that my first stand out frown was from the tiny corner/section that was devoted to weight training. There was 1 squat rack, and some light weights that maxed out at around 40 lbs. This is about as far as the strength training goes with the exception of a few standard isolation machines. So, so far we have an all women’s gym with ample cardio equipment, very little choice and progression in weight training equipment, and its not even closed off to the public like it «appears» to be. A lot of missed targets here, this gym is certainly not for everyone just by these few factors alone. The kicker that really irked me the most was the next step of the tour. Here you are met with hidden conditions to becoming a new member, and a lengthy list of unnecessary charges and fees at sign up. And I’m not talking about 1 single fee that some gyms have as a new member processing fee. I’m talking about several fees that don’t even make sense. Scanning down them just makes you feel totally ripped off. If you continue through here and pay all the fees, you’re certainly not done with the process. Now, you must undergo the enforced, more uncomfortable side of the deal for some. It is here that as a new member, you MUST undergo a fitness profile which includes body measurements of all kinds and forms, weighed in, BMI, and a consultation with a personal trainer that includes further investigation into your business. Being a former personal trainer at another gym, I am fully aware of this tactic. Its simply an ambush the club places on new members to sell personal training. Although at my former club, this new member initiation was by choice, at She’s Fit! this initiation CANNOT be bypassed. If you want to be a member at this gym, even after paying all the ridiculous start-up and invented fees, you MUST undergo tape measures strapped around your body, weighed in, probing personal questions, personal trainer package up-sell and a full health profile(with no choice in the matter.) Don’t like it? tough. You cant proceed to be a member then. Mind you, some people may not mind all of this being forced on them. I however do not appreciate the freedom of my choice on the matter taken away. Keep in mind that all of this hassle is merely a selling tool to get you to sit down and have to listen to the selling spill of a personal training package, which is where clubs makes their big bills. Selling first! Service second!
