While the service was very friendly and quick, the french toast was more like regular toast. A slice of orange on my plate was seated with a slice of tomato. And, somehow, the bacon didn’t taste like bacon. I also wish they had real maple syrup vs the little packets. The venue itself is cute and in a great location. Man, I think the Challah French Toast at Aunties and Uncles has spoiled me. Maybe I just have unreasonable expectations now.

This place was great! It’s just a little diner, nothing fancy — but the soup was made from scratch with fresh vegetables. The Caesar salad was tasty, fresh and garlicky and had real bacon bits in it.

So I order onion rings with my burger. They come out 10 mins after my burger in a pool of grease and cold. I tell the waitress expecting she will make it right, instead she brings back the same onion rings that they have either put on the grill or flat top and are now burnt. I get the impression that this place has a pretty good client base, however this kind of cheeky response to quality and service will eventually catch up to them. Not a good dining experience at all and the quality doesny come close to price. Order; Clubhouse with fries Banquet burger(onion rings off the bill) 3 diet soda =$ 30.00 Ridiculous. There are alot of really great restaurants in Collingwood. Suggest you try one of them imstead.

Based on one of the reviews here we almost didn’t try this place but I am so glad we did. The service is stellar. They have a separate server bringing around coffee… which is hot and delicious. I had the Greek omelette which was teaming with feta cheese and veggies. The home fries are uniquely cut. crispy and very tasty. The place is packed for brunch and I can certainly see why. We will definitely be back.

Food was alright but very fast. Their coffee was very water-down, and only coffee was offered. I had a Greek omelette, it was not overly greasy but not a lot of flavour either. I would still prefer to go Sunset grill.

wonderful ol’ style diner — been here many decades from what we can see. we both had the special — which the waitress said was supposed to be over for the day(the board was supposed to be taken down)… but she honoured them. i had turkey club, and my other have fish n chips. turkey club was real honest roast turkey — roasted in house, lettuce and tomatoes were fresh fresh, toast was a wee bit burnt. all in all excellent. fresh cut fries :) and you can tell they didn’t leave the oil too long — they were great. Fish was clearly frozen portions — triangular — but 2 good large pieces — and perfectly fried. coleslaw seemed homemade — vinaigrette style. good, quick friendly service — in fact i was shocked how quick it was — our meals were out in less then 10 min! clean… but honestly the floors were a bit grubby and the bathrooms were very grubby — the kitchen was clean(we could see it from the hall). They loose 1 star for the cleanliness. all in all we will return… wanna try the breakfast :) price was great — 2 dinners, 2 choc milks, 24! with tax.
