Holidaying in Comox, this is one of the top 10 attractions listed in Tripadvisor. There is no entrance fee and parking is free. Youc an walk on both side of the road. On the right is the harbor. On the left is the rustic shore line with drift wood decorated fence. There is place when you can go swimming. You can walk your dogs too, certain date during the year, dogs must be leashed. The view is stunning. There is also a public toilet like the one in construction site. It would have been nice if there is better facilities. The view is worth the visit.

Lovely public space on the neck of the park. The water isn’t very clear, but it’s nice and warm in the summer. Goose Spit is surrounded by a lot of sand and mud bottoms, making it great for wading in the water. Access from Hawkins Avenue by car, or the Hawkins Greenway on foot. There is ample free parking beachside, fire pit rings, and porta potties. At the tip/end of the Spit is the Naval base and civilians are restricted from visiting. If you want nice views, head for the Nob Hill Greenway. The trail begins with a set of stairs near the beginning of the Spit which lead up to residential areas. If you keep going along the narrow blackberry trail, you get even wider vistas.
