It’s usually common courtesy to buy someone dinner before bending them over. I’m also pretty sure this company pays to only keep the 9⁄10 and get rid of the 1⁄10 reviews(probably made up) so people would hire them. My mom paid these guys twice for a total of $ 3300 to fix the heating for the entire house. The second time they came by, the technician guaranteed the issue would be resolved so my mom paid them $ 2700 and they left. The heat still didn’t work for the first floor when we checked it a couple hours later so we called them to go fix it. They didn’t call or contact us so we had to put a hold on the payment which conveniently made them show up the next day. The tech checked the heating again then quoted another $ 3000 to fix another part of the heating system and then threatened to take us to collections if we didn’t release the previous payment on hold. Since my mom already signed the document(which was stupid of her) saying services were performed and there were no issues, we had no choice but to release it. We got another quote the next day from another company and the exact same work air quality dunrite quoted us for $ 3000 only costs them $ 700 to perform. The other company said the work performed by these people was not good and that we were ripped off. This company also boasts a ‘100%’ satisfaction guarantee for all repairs/work/service performed which is a complete lie. We gave them multiple opportunities to resolve the issue but they just ignore or try to overcharge us for more money on something that was already supposed to be performed. We also paid a diagnostic fee which was obviously done incompetently, or they knew what the issue were and just wanted to string us along for as much money as possible. Every time we paid them for repairs which they said would fix the entire heating problem, they would come back and say an additional was needed which conveniently only comes AFTER the initial repairs which were promised to fix the issue was paid for and performed. If you use this company, make sure everything works before you sign anything. My mom doesn’t read english so she didn’t know what she was signing. She said the tech assured her that everything was working and that all she had to do was call him back and he would fix it for ‘free’ since there is ‘warranty’ on their work. My brother also talked to the tech and he said everything should be fixed after the 2nd time they came around with all the repairs made. However, the entire basement floor heat does not work to this day. Buyers beware — they’re either really good hustlers, or a very incompetent repair company.

Called these folks first thing in the morning to fix an improperly installed thermostat in my condo. They said they would send someone between 10 and 2. I called back at 2 to check that the technician was still coming. At first the receptionist didn’t seem to be able to find my appointment in the system, but then said the guy would be here soon. At 3:20 got a call from Air Quality Dunrite informing me that since it’s a condo they can’t come as there are liability issues because they aren’t one of management’s preferred companies. They suggested I ask my condo management for a list of companies they work with. I don’t understand why they gave me an appointment, had me wait around all day and then called me almost an hour and a half after the appointment window to say they weren’t coming. They knew right from my initial call that I was in a condo. Ridiculous.
