We had the best customer service experience at this store. After a disappointing experience at IKEA, we reluctantly went into Sleep Country Canada, expecting a pushy salesman to be in our face. Boy, were we wrong! Mike asked us what we were looking for, listened to us, gave us a few choices, and helped us pick the perfect mattress. Then it was time to talk price. We expected to pay through our nose but the one we picked happened to be on sale, and he offered to throw in a fancy mattress pad, and delivery was free, and they have a service to take away your old mattress for only $ 10.50!!! That was on a Wed, he scheduled delivery for Sat, he said the delivery guys would call between 8 and 9 am to give us a time for delivery. They called at 8:20 am, they said they would deliver between 2 and 5 pm, they arrived at 2:30pm. It was raining and I hadn’t covered our floors yet but no problem, out of their pockets they pulled out booties to slip on!!! They were courteous, professional and extremely efficient!!! Now, if the mattress lives up to its expectations, I would say that the whole experience was heaven sent!!!

I neglected to write this review during the hoopla of Christmas eating and shopping, & more eating!
Been using a futon all these years, the life of a bachelor falling asleep while watching the sports highlights or working from the laptop lol, so time for me to spoil myself. as you get older, gotta take care of yourself, esp. the back.
What only started as fact-​gathering, as one of my hockey friends works for Sleep Country, ended up in a nice purchase! Not that I was talked to, but the owner Neil, it’s amazing what a wealth of info when it comes to buying a mattress.
As i’m in sales too, i’m sure all the competitors offer similar 90-​return policies, price-​matching, make you try all the different beds and all but here’s why I chose Simmons:
–assembled and made here locally!
–Sleep Country doesn’t specialize in any particularly brand, as they carry all brands
–their discounts based on what incentives the manufacturers offer to the sales ppl!
It’s all about the service, and they let me try 6 different beds, there for about 2 hours, gradullay narrowing down to me liking the medium firmness, with a soft ‘topper’.
and i’m just amazed how much quality sleep i get now; from 4 hrs to about 6, though when i know i have to wake up early on just a few hours of sleep, then i’m back to the futon/​sofa ;)))
