I tried this restaurant once last year. Today I am coming back here to try their food the second time. I ordered the same dishes that I ordered last year: vegetable sushi roll, while wheat flour handmade noodles with broth and vegetables and steamed dumplings with minced meat and vegetables. But I added a dish of spicy Korean style pork with steamed rice and soup this time. This spicy Korean style pork was VERY spicy. If you love and can eat spicy food, you must like it. Despite of the spicy flavour, the pork tasted excellent. My parents and I came here for lunch. The bill was only $ 30 for three of us. It was quite cheap! The service was great as well. The downside is that the restaurant is very small that it has only four tables and 16 chairs. It has limited space, so if four tables are full, you have to wait or go somewhere else instead.

During another recent stay in the area, we returned to Sol’s for breakfast/lunch twice — had to try some more of their good Korean food offerings! What we ordered, and shared: — Jjin Mandu(steamed dumplings) — the dumplings(10 of them) stuffed with minced beef and veggies — served piping hot to the table, quite large, and very tasty. — Odeng(fish cakes in broth) — fish cakes(I counted five different kinds), in a light, soy-flavoured broth — served steaming hot, and flavourful. — Pat Kalguksu(Korean noodle dish) — large, hand-made Korean noodles, along with a few veggies, condiments, and an egg, in an in-house prepared Azuki bean paste soup — steaming hot, and so good! Our kind of breakfast/lunch fare! And each dining experience sure«hit-the-spot». We like Sol’s, and it represents such good-value dining!
