Sparky’s Kutz for Kidz

Took my 1−½ yr. old son there. Explicitly directed the hair stylist that I didn’t want a lot cut off (as it takes his hair so long to grow), just to shape it up a bit. She not only cut a lot off, but did a ‘hack’ job. I complained to the Manager and didn’t get any sympathy at all. I left there in tears. I would give no stars if I could.

Unfortunately I had to actually give them a one star, but I wouldn’t even give them the one star!
We went into the coquitlam centre location and this was by far the worst, worst service I have ever received. I went to get my 7 year old’s haircut and she was done after 5 mins and his hair was TOTALLY crooked. She didn’t lift his seat, she didn’t even try to make his hair even. I asked her to please fix it and she rolled her eyeballs and then told me this was his second haircut and that she would now need to use the shears and not the scissors. I wasn’t sure why she was telling me that since she was supposed to be the professional so whatever she needs to use should just be done. Also, I am not sure how it was his second haircut when he never left the chair. Then they started talking to each other in their own language and she still left his hair crooked and then one of them asked my 7 year old if this was his third haircut! Are you kidding me? After ½ an hour, I had had enough. We left and I had to fix his hair when we got home. I used the same shears as her and you should have seen the amount of hair she missed. These women are not professionals and there is no way they received a hair dresser certificate!
Out of habit I left a tip, but I will be contacting visa to reverse that charge because this kind of service should not exist anywhere. Brutal! Brutal! Brutal!
My kid too looks like Dumb and Dumber and I will have to hire a real professional to fix it!!!
I will make sure everyone I know hears about our experience.
