Very good. Fresh fresh fresh. Lots of choices for toppings. Quality. I chose the pulled pork burrito and it was very good. Yhe pulled pork had an excellent taste. I will return
Update. The next day i was craving another burrito jax and realized that i need to adjust my rating to five stars

I was told to go here when I needed a quick supper that was not ‘fast food’.
The recommendation was compelling so I made a quick date. Our food was awesome! I got the pulled pork with everything on it, mole sauce and burrito jax sauce. The pulled pork was the server’s favorite. My date had the jax chicken, which is the most popular. The owner said his favorite is a combo of jax chicken and steak — maybe I’ll try that next time.
So, all ingredients are fresh and prepared by hand — the staff and owner are friendly.
The price is good especially because I only ate half of it and ate the other half for supper the next day!!!
The next day, I told the recommender that I went and loved it — and wouldn’t you know… He went there with 3 of his friends for lunch!
If you haven’t gone — go!!! :)

On the recommendation of a co-​worker I tried Burrito Jax for the first time and it was fantastic. I stopped in around 11:30 and there was no wait, and no crowd. The choices are great, I went with a large (and boy, is it large!) pepperjack steak burrito and it was heavenly! There is not a lot of seating inside the restaurant so don’t plan on eating in if you are going during peak hours!

I visited the Burnside Burrito Jax for lunch on a Saturday as I was popping into a couple of stores. Attentive, friendly staff, and they make your food exactly the same at each of the locations. The burrito bowl with jax chicken is my go-​to at every location and I am never disappointed. If I were a seafood fan I would’ve been excited to see they now offer fresh fish and lobster rolls! I love that everything is made fresh daily — from the meats to the veggie prep. You won’t get any fresher than Burrito Jax!

Tried this location for the second time. Though I hear that it is really busy during the peak Burnside hours — i.e. after they open until after lunch — I have only ever gone to the location during off-​peak hours (they are open until 8PM during the week even though Burnside itself is at a lull after 6). Which means my food gets all of the attention since I am usually either the only or one of a couple of customers.
The food is great, the team is attentive and knowledgeable about the ingredients in what they serve, and it is overall a great experience.
Did you know that they are open on Saturdays? Well, now you do.
